Awesome, thanks for posting! I wish they had provided an example though. Maybe one magical trap and one mechanical?

Doesn't this imply that "setback" traps are going to be automatically detected, since it seems a given that at least one person in the party will have at least 11 passive perception?

Those are save DC's against attacks, I believe. Not against detection.

For anyone still wondering how to kill that 20th level moon druid, just invite her to your dungeon full of deadly-level traps and have them eat 132 damage per trap :smallamused:

I just want to know whether a Detect Magic spell will detect magic traps. I really want a reason to play a Warlock with the Eldritch Sight invocation.

Oh, that illustration is wonderful!
And very curious about complex traps, could be awesome.
I'd like some non-damaging trap-examples though.

I second each point made here. That illustration is beautiful, complex traps now have me really intrigued, and yes what other traps might there be?......
