If we made a catagory, for a class function, that worked on only spirits like the spirit shaman.

What monster catagories do we have in 5e, that would fit that?

Incorporeal fiends, incorporeal undead, fey, elementals.

Probably anything incorpeal could qualify as a spirit. There aren't that many at the moment that I know of though.

The things summoned by the find familiar and steed spells are spirits that are given physical form by the spell. There might be other conjurations that operate in a similar manner.

Didn't the flavor state they hold an elemental inside? I liked the incorporeal, fey, and elemental qualifier.
