Is there a psionic version of Mirror Image? Whether the duplicates are mental figments, light constructs, or ectoplasm copies is irrelevant.

No, there is not.

That said, if you wanted it for your guy, you could buy a manifestation of psychic chirurgery from a spell-to-power erudite to get him to teach it to you. talk to your DM about how to figure out its precise augment ratio.

since you'd be manifesting it as a 2, I'd say gain 1 more mirror image for each additional PP spent beyond 3, keeping the cap at 8 images total.

right. you could still use the above when it came to augments though, due to the way powers scale.

Hyperconscious has the throw ectoform power, which does what you're looking for. Also the Astral Zealot PrC, which gets it as a bonus power at lv1 and can eventually upgrade the images into weak astral constructs.

Throw Ectoform is a 2nd level shaper-only power from Hyperconscious, which is quite similar, but it does more. The ectoforms are actually constructs that look and act like you. They can move quite a ways away from you and can lift and move up to 5 lbs, but they cannot attack, and they pop like balloons if successfully attacked, regardless of what the attack is. They can do a few other things, too. It's a very nice power.
