I've been asked many times over the years whether or not the kitten in my profile is my pic (he isn't), but since we now have a cat I thought I'd use him as my holiday pic

speaking of Thanksgiving, I propose a moment of silence in memory of turkeys...

Happy NFL Triple Header Thursday!!

You mean nap time.
Thanksgiving goes something like this:

Step one: Cook/socialize with family
Step two: eat feast
Step three: wait about 1/2 an hour to an hour then eat pies for desert
Step four: flip tv over to NFL triple header game and promptly fall asleep.
step five: wake up, socialize a bit more then make excuse to go home.
step six: Profit?

Also, happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving indeed.

Ok, I'm not American and so really have no excuse for this, but hey, festivals are great. So Happy Thanksgiving.

Also, happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Thankfully my family doesn't talk much anymore or I'd go through the crappy version of this.

Step One: Invite relatives in.
Step Two: Prevent relatives from killing one another while they await dinner.
Step Three: Ensure no one distracts the cook, or methods used to prevent relatives from killing one another will fail.
Step Four: Attempt to eat, and hope all goes well
Step Five: "Accidentally" get stabbed with utensil while trying to calm ensuing argument
Step Six: Tell relatives to leave or police will be called
Step Seven: Enjoy the calm of the er whilst I am bandaged

It's much nicer to just have a cat.

Really, how would you feel if someone posted a similar picture of you to a public forum? :smalltongue:

A little like apologizing, personally. "Sorry you had to see that."

Sleeping habits aside, Happy Thanksgiving, all.

Your cat looks like he's gone into a post-turkey food coma. :smalltongue:

We had Mhee Shay (Burmese noodle soup, but I have hot soup with pork rinds as cereal flakes) for Thanksgiving.

Nah that's his daily power nap. He doesn't eat turkey. Actually with the exception of canned tuna and black forest ham shredded into small pieces he refuses all people food. He'll sniff it and then look at you with this expression that seems to say "omgwth is wrong wif u peeples".

We ate Thursday with my wife's family, so Saturday I get a second Thanksgiving with my family!

Fighting to end world starvation, one Italian family at a time...

Happy Thanksgiving weekend to everyone!
