1st: Blooded Hunter I made this, I'm pretty sure I am required to vote it first. I mean I could try and toot my own horn, but it'd be so biased as to do no one any good.

2nd: Defiler I like the concept; what can I say I evidently have something for aberration hunters and aberrant characters (see Blooded Hunter) and I'd actually consider using it in a game.

3rd Spelljacker 3 level PrC we need more of those. Well balanced for the idea, worth putting 3 levels in if you have no other PrC to aim for and like counterspelling, but ultimately gains little enough that the opportunity cost and feat prereqs make it a choice instead of a strict upgrade over wizard/sorcerer.

Uhm, aren't you not meant to vote for your own? Because I feel that it would defeat the object.

Uhm, aren't you not meant to vote for your own? Because I feel that it would defeat the object.

Unlike the other contests this one doesn't include that rule, nor one to make the creators actually vote which becomes necessary once you ban voting for your own. So while I prefer the Base Class Contest's (no vote for your own, must vote or dq), when in Rome.

1st: Blooded hunter. Thematic, variety of abilities, reasonable power level. What's not to like?

2nd: Defiler. Again, some 'choose your own' class features, and it sticks to its theme well.

3rd: Spelljacker. Frankly, I think it's underpowered. You shouldn't need to spend another spell just to spelljack a spell, in addition to dispelling it. And the caster level DC's are nontrivial. Interesting idea, fits the contest theme, but could do with a bit more power.

Well, if we can vote for ourselves, I guess I have to... :P

1st: Defiler.

2nd: Dwemer Defiler. Even though he kinda stole my name (I kid, I kid!) I really like the class. Magic items are fun but there are too few ways to mess with them in D&D... You can suppress them with magic but that's about it. A class focused on screwing you with your own items is FUN!

3rd: Spelljacker. Short and sweet, lots of fun. Spell turning looks a lot more fun than counterspelling, which is already cool and gets too little love.

1st: Blooded Hunter. Very well done with very nice flavor. It looks balanced and the practical effects aren't so focused on aberrations that the PrC will be helpless in other encounters.

2nd: Defiler. Highly original.

3rd: Dwemer Defiler. The entire idea of focusing on opponent's magic items is very clever and this looks like a mechanically sound implementation.

1st: Defiler: I really like the fluff, and while the crunch isn't very innovative it's well-suited to its purpose. I would consider playing this in an evil game. My only reservation is that it's thematically a bit close to the Blighter from Complete Divine.

2nd: Spelljacker: Interesting concept and execution, but too specialized and requires a high level to even enter. Also, the NPC is deeply improbable: no sorcerer should be winning wizards' duels.

3rd: Blooded Hunter: Decent concept, and I like the additional feats. However, I'm generally down on "pick ability from a list" prestige classes, which is essentially what this is, because they end up rather unfocused.
