DM friend of mine is not a fan of the barbarian due to making Conan cry.

So I threw this together to make a new type of barbarian. A fighter who taps into the fury.

Level 3:
Furious Intimidation: You gain Expertise in Intimidation. This does not stack with other expertise granted from other classes.

Reckless Attack: You gain the Reckless Attack ability of the Barbarian. You can not use this ability while wearing heavy armor. You can not cast spells on any round in which you use this ability.

Level 7:
Fury of Blows: Once per turn, when you make a strength based melee or thrown weapon attack you deal additional damage equal to your proficiency bonus. You can not use this ability while wearing heavy armor. You can not cast spells on any round in which you use this ability.

Level 10
Furious Glare: You are immune to fear effects. You may use the demoralize action.

Demoralize: Bonus Action: Intimidate versus Insight. If enemy fails save they take disadvantage on attacks against you. Only one creature may be demoralized at a time. This lasts for one round.

Level 15
Greater Fury of Blows: Bonus damage when you perform Fury of Blows is equal to 2 * Prof Bonus.

Mental Fury: As a bonus action you may dismiss any effect that controls your mind be it domination, charm, fear, or other effect that relies on a failed Int, Wis, Cha save.

Level 18
Final Fury: One weapon attack you make on your turn is maximized. Due to the extreme stress this places on your body you may perform a Final Fury once per long rest. You may not use this ability while in heavy armor. You can not cast spells on any round in which you use this ability.

Greater Mental Fury: Any creature who tries to read your mind is stunned for one round and the attempt automatically fails. A constitution save negates the stunned. The DC for this ability is 14 + Constitution Modifier. You may focus your mind and lower this defense as a reaction, it stays lowered still you stop concentrating on it or you are in combat.

Odin's Eyepatch: You gain the achery fighting style if you do not have it. Additionally, you don't take disadvantage when throwing a weapon in combat due to being threatened or for anything less than full cover.

Loki's Helm: This, ugly yet awesome, helm gives the wearer expertise in Deception and Insight. You also gain resistance to cold damage.

Thor's Breastplate: This set of breastplate gives you resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and lightning damage. Additionally it totally makes you look like you have a six pack.
