Hey, I'm building a cavalier for my friend's one shot, (Small Angelkin Aasimar for Strength Cheese), and I'm wondering if my riding boar can make a gore attack at the same time that I skewer my target with my lance.

It's not really a big deal either way, as I'm sure my lance will be hitting more than hard enough for most situations, but I want to know in case it comes up.

I don't see why not. The more the merrier, I always say. Not looking at a rulebook at this moment, but I always just assumed the answer was yes. So I'm kinda curious of the RAW answer myself. lol. Regardless, perhaps this question would be better directed to the Q&A (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?348896-Simple-Q-amp-A-for-Pathfinder-3-Find-With-a-Vengeance) thread.

I didn't know about that thread, thanks for telling me about it.

If your mount is war-trained and you make a DC 10 ride check he can attack in the same round as you: www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/ride.htm

It's in a few other places in the rules too. Many monster descriptions say they are war-trained. If not, it takes 6 weeks and a DC 20 handle animal check. You can take a 10 on that check. Or hire an NPC to do it. Or I don't think it's unreasonable to simply tell an intelligent mount to fight with you, trained or not, though I don't know if that's RAW.

Right, but while I knew that that applied to making attacks while the mount didn't move around all that much, the rules seemed less clear to me involving charge attacks.

The rules don't seem to distinguish either way. And here in the mounted combat rules in the combat chapter, it seems to be saying your mount can charge and attack and then you can also attack: http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/specialAttacks.htm#mountedCombat . It actually says you both get the +2 to attack, -2 AC for doing so, but to do that it is making the assumption that you are both allowed to act independently. In fact it needs to give a special explanation for why you can't full attack when the mount charges.

Here's the exact same rule copy-pasted into Pathfinder, just to confirm: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/combat#TOC-Mounted-Combat

Or in other words you get a turn, the mount gets a turn, and you only need special rules to describe exceptions to this.
