I read that certain powers provoke an AoO, but I am unsure on which ones, and how to tell. Any help please?

You have that backwards. Powers, like spells, provoke AoO's unless otherwise specified in their entry or are modified in some way to avoid it, or if you make a concentration check to manifest defensively. For example, a quickened power doesn't provoke just as a quickened spell doesn't. Whats nice about powers is that they have no verbal or somatic component so you can even use them in a grapple.
