So I am just looking at Sha'Ir, and see the following:
At character Lvl 3 spells known (lvl 2 spells): -
At character Lvl 3 spells per day (lvl 2 spells): 1

Is this just WotC being derpy?

Not at all; Sha'ir can actually cast spells he doesn't know, they just take longer to retrieve. It seems silly when I write it like this, but read the description in Sha'ir casting and it makes sense. They're potentially stronger then wizards due to having access to more spells.

Well, i know they are stronger than wizards :D
But what Im trying to get is: can they really cast spells of a level they dont KNOW yet, but have ID'd? That'd be nice.
