Using my new DMG. I have decided to to flesh out the evil sentient greatsword Hazirawn. Everything other then it's special Purpose and alignment was determined randomly.


Hazirawn can speak, read, and understand Common and Netherese and can communicate telepathically with anyone that carries or wields it.

Ability Scores: Int 12, Wis 14, Cha 16

Hearing and normal vision out to 60 feet.

Alignment: Neutral Evil

Characteristics: Makes constant jokes, Blustering, Ideal:Might, Bond: Protective of colleagues or compatriots, Flaw/Secret: Has a powerful Enemy.

Special Purpose: Templar: The item seeks to defend the servants and interests of a particular deity. (Tiamat)

These features of Hazirawn make it much more difficult for the party to use in the adventure but pretty much turns the sword into an antagonist on it's own and makes it more interesting.
