Welcome to the Dementrivia, the quiz show with an attitude.

What is this about? You can read the long description (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35592) or accept the short explanation:
Each round, I give you one question. You send me an answer that is wrong, but as funny and entertaining as possible. After some time, I will gather your entries and reveal them. Then you may vote for your favorite answer, thus awarding it points.

After six rounds, Raistlin has managed to establish a strong lead with several players lurking for their chance.

Question 7: In early 2006, a breakthrough was made in the beatification of former pope John Paul II. According to canon, a miracle must have happened post mortem after someone had prayed to the deceased. Which is the miracle that occurred after the prayer?

Please send your answers as a message until Saturday, 6 PM Eastern

Note that this is a game without signups. You can send answers/vote anytime.

Time is over. These are your answers:

Question 7: In early 2006, a breakthrough was made in the beatification of former pope John Paul II. According to canon, a miracle must have happened post mortem after someone had prayed to the deceased. Which is the miracle that occurred after the prayer?

True Answer: A french nun was allegedly cured of Parkinson's disease after her community had prayed to the deceased pope. The miracle is strengthened by the fact that John Paul II himself suffered from Parkinson's during his life.

Your answers:

Answer 1:
The now deceased Pope John Paul II, got up and danced. Not only did he breakdance, he also started rapping.

Answer 2:
After praying, Pope Benedict XVI received an answer to his prayer from his predecessor.
"The keys to the Pope-mobile are in the pocket of your other Pope-Pants. Dzieci te dni... if it was a snake, it would have bit you."

Answer 3:
The Bananaphone song was banned for eternity.

Answer 4:
In poland a nun which wanted to record the TV-documentation of the life of John Paul II prayed „Please, JP II, help me to program my video recorder the right way!” and miracolously she were able to see the documentation the next day.

Answer 5:
Apocalypse did not come.

Answer 6:
It was discovered that a trekkie, after beseeching the great Capt. Jean-Luc Picard, had finally moved out of his grandparents' basement, found a girlfriend, and lost his virginity. The Catholic Church, ever-discriminating, was quoted as saying: "Close enough."

Answer 7:
What happened after the prayer? A zombie uprising. Only this and nothing more.

Answer 8:
I actually finished an English essay on time.

Answer 9:
Five days after the pope's death, a hungry man was walking in the streets of New York on a clouded afternoon. He had been so busy with his work that he had forgotten lunch, and now he was starving. He thought: 'by the dead pope, I wish I had a ham sandwich!' Suddenly, the clouds broke, a ray of heavenly light shone down, and a ham sandwich descended from heaven.
The man died from food poisoning three days later, but it was a miracle indeed.

Answer 10:
The miracle was the release of Dungeon Crawlin' Fools.

Answer 11:
The miracle is that Nora Riley of El Paso, TX had just spent 10 hours on preparing her son's wedding cake, when a taste test revealed that she has used salt instead of sugar in the icing. The prayer of the traumatized woman turned the salt to sugar.

Answer 12:
He was turned into a llama.

Answer 13:
The Democrats swept both houses of Congress.

A nice and even spread. Eldritch Knight narrowly wins the round alone, trailed by Calamity, citcon and my personal favorite J Muller. Also it is nice to see that more than 15 people voted. If the game lives to see a second season it will definitely include larger rewards for voting.
