After assassinating the leader of a warband consisting of orcs, hobgoblins and goblins. a group of adventurers were chased half way across the Icerim Mountains. only upon falling into the Spinebreaker river, were they able to elude the pursuing warband. Battered, broken, and run until the point of exhaustion, the brave adventurers huddled together in the frigid dark among old and majestic giant evergreens. fearful of rediscovery, they dare not even light so much as a candle, never knowing the sights morning would soon reveal.

As the sun crested the Icerim peaks, the adventurers were knocked breathless by the view before them. for they now stood within a beautiful canyon carved by ancient glaciers. Dense forests of giant pines, conifers, and noble redwoods from one end of the canyon to the other. a powerful river flowed from the north eastern apex of the canyon to the south west, leaping over granite cliffs to fall and join with the Spinebreaker.

After several days of rest, the adventurers set off to the south, to civilization... to home. floating a log raft down the river, Igor the Battlemaster noticed a sparkle of light in the shallows. disembarking to investigate the flicker, he discovered something of true worth... Gold!.. a tiny nugget by dwarven standards but a quick search revealed more! the Party of friends were overjoyed and celebrant about their discovery and vowed they would all return to establish a mining settlement.

Sadly this was not to come to pass, soon after they rejoined the Spinebreaker, the orc and goblin horde pursuing them finally caught up, and in the ensuing battle all members save Igor lost their lives. Igor, now bleeding from a vicious wound managed to make it to a small farming community just north of Immilmar. On his deathbed igor wrote to his brother detailing the canyon and their discovery, sealing it and passing it to the priest, Igor entered the halls of Moradin.

Ignatious "Iggi" Igthorn was partaking of his favorite past time, drinking excesivly, when he encountered another heavily inebriated person. Conner Stoutcask was in the middle of telling his friends about his overly exaggerating brother Igor, who's wild tales were nothing more than just that, wild tales. half way through the night Conner told the tale of his brothers final days and the discovery of Stoutcask Canyon. Never to dismiss the promise or allure of gold, Iggi sobered almost immediately, offering the group additional drinks in exchange for more information about the discovery.

That night Rivers of gold flowed among seas of emerald trees in the dreams of Igthorn and Stoutcask. Upon waking the two agreed to explore the promise of such riches and attempt to locate the hidden canyon. two weeks later after gathering their supplies the two headed off accompanied by a small group of Iggi's guards.

Now...

The young Duke Ignatious Igthorn has commissioned a large caravan of men and supplies to travel into a newly discovered glacial canyon to construct a mining and farming settlement, expandng the kingdom's borders and area of influence.

Realizing the caravan may come under attack by banditry, Sir Justin Caseidie has requested more able bodied mercenaries to bolster his militia's ranks and provide security and stability to the caravan. the lead architect Conner Stoutcask, one of the many brothers to the dwarven adventurer who first discovered "Stoutcask Canyon" is the lead architect and overseer of all labor and specialist personnel. He has hired additional mages to aid in the construction, defense, and warding of the new settlement. Additionally several clergy have joined the caravan in order to provide medicinal and religious relief. leading them is father Kal Dravin, a devout follower of Eldath, godess of peace.

I'm NEET, working nights. (and I had to google that to see what it meant  )
How long per session were you thinking? If we finished by or around 3pm central it would be doable for me to get to work on time. The 3-4 times per week stipulation might be my deal breaker though....
