Hi... after a long discussion with some friends, I wanted to ask here.

What constituted a [chaotic subtype] which is unaffected by this spell? Would that be something like a human who's alignment was chaotic good, neutral or evil? Or whould it have to be some outsider who was native of some chaotic plane?

This (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/typesSubtypes.htm) is the bit of the rules you're looking for.

In short, simply having a chaotic alignment does not give you the [chaotic] subtype; it's typically something that only Outsiders native to chaos-aligned planes have (though there are ways for other creatures to obtain it).

As above, but for an example take a look at the monster entries for various demons (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/demon.htm)and note that chaotic is specifically listed in the entry under type.
