Okay, 3 days until Christmas, I have a pretty small budget, and I have one more person to get a gift for. That person would be my mother. She's what most would call a no nonsense tomboy. I have no idea what to give her. Anyone care to shoot out/kick around a few ideas?

It may sound cliche, but honestly, mothers tend to not care what you get them, as long as it comes from the heart. Hell, I tear up whenever my daughters give me a Fathers day or Birthday card that they made themselves.

Jar of Apple Butter. Easy to make, you can get Mason Jars and do your own canning.

A cool hunting knife?

A large portion of salted pork?

A bullwhip?(this definitely this!)

How much of a no nonsense tomboy is she?

I actually might do this for my grandmother. I just looked up the process, thanks =)

Now we're talking. Salted pork, now that's the kind of creativity I have come to like this forum for. That's a good idea =)

To answer your question, she played basket ball and softball for a good while, she's always been athletic.

Thanks for the ideas, guys. I appreciate the help
