Thicken Skin Power

Does the Thicken Skin Psionic power provide the same type of bonus as an enhancement bonus to armor? The flavor text suggests natural armor but the wording of the power only says a +1 enhancement bonus to armor class.

If I am understanding the power correctly it provides an enhancement bonus that would not stack with say a +1/+2/etc. on armor, but would stack with a +1/+2 on a shield. And would also stack with non magical armor, essentially turning armor into a +X version depending on the amount of power points spent.

Technically not true. Aside from apparently Thicken Skin, there is no way I'm aware of to add an enhancement bonus to AC - armor and shields have an enhancement bonus to the armor/shield bonus they provide. That's why wearing +5 full plate and a +5 large shield adds +20 to AC ([8+5] armor + [2+5] shield), rather than +15 (8+5+2). Admittedly, this is rather cheesy, so expect Thicken Skin to be nerfed to providing an enhancement bonus to natural armor, as that fits both with the description and the other available powers.
