What I asked in the title- Is there any domain in PF that is themed on the "revenge" theme specifically? The closest I found were the Hatred and Retribution (3rd party) domains.

I'd check Calistria's granted domains on the Wiki. If there is anything like what you're looking for, it should be listed there.

I suspect Retribution is the closest you'll find though, since it fits in well with both Justice and Revenge.

It is 3.5, but there is a Spite domain in heroes of horror. AFAIK it is only offered by Cas (same book) the moose headed demigod of vengeance and spite without end.

somewhere out there running around is a WoTC web enhancement about the 7 deadly sins. I would think "Wrath" would be a pretty decent example of revenge.

Hatred (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/cleric/domains/paizo---domains/destruction-domain/hatred-subdomain), sub-domain of Destruction. Comes across as more "hate everything" than revenge though.

Judgement (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/cleric/domains/paizo---domains/law-domain/judgment-subdomain), sub-domain of Law. Fits revenge decently.

Inquisitions (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/inquisitor/inquisitions) may work better, let's see what we got...
Anger Inquisition (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/inquisitor/inquisitions/inquistions---paizo/anger-inquisition)
Vengeance Inquisition (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/inquisitor/inquisitions/inquistions---paizo/vengeance-inquisition)

The question came since a player of mien is thinking of joining her ranks, due to motives of revenge, but we couldn't find any "revenge" (Or similar) domain...

The group expressed interest in keeping with the PF rules only, without importing anything from 3.5. Sorry, I should have mentioned it.

I thought I did list Hatred, didn't I? The character is chaotic, so I can't choose something that comes from Law domains (or subdomains) I will check the inquisitions more closely. Do they substitute domains?

Thanks everyone! I guess we'll have to settle for retribution or something similar.

They do but even the book notes that they are basically just watered down domains - they grant no domain spells or slots.

Any class that gets domains can take an Inquisition instead but they are generally not recommended.

Sake of being thorough.

Yeah, in a weird kind of way Law actually makes perfect sense from a revenge perspective.
Part of that is the whole (semi-backwards) "Lawful means following Laws" thing, but that's another discussion...

They do not directly substitute domains. But each deity has access to a handful of Inquisitions. You'll have to poke around for who has what though (http://www.archivesofnethys.com/Inquisitions.aspx), as I don't think there's a convenient table (used to be one on the SRD, but then they had to remove all official deity names due to copyright).

Depends on the Inquisition. The powers are usually slightly (slightly) better than Domain powers. And there are some pretty handy unique things you can't get from Domains (like making a WIS based Party-Face for one).

Inquisitions were designed for Inquisitors (duh) as they don't get Domain Spells anyway.
And while I wouldn't go Cleric and take TWO Inquisitions, a Domain paired with an Inquisition can be quite useful.

You could just work together with your player to create a new Vengeance domain.

I lost the thread and forgot about it, so sorry for the late response. The player seeks to remain within the rules, and does not really like the inquisitions. We decided to keep the revenge as a roleplay aspect, and went with another domain for his powers. Oh well.

Just wanted to say thanks for the help! The inquisition look interesting (I hope to play an inquisitor someday... :smallwink:)
