Me and my player need help with this build. How to make a good Eldritch Theurge, don't want to hear use another class blah blah, just replies helping optimize it if possible. Race Fey'ri or hellbreed

Use an early entry trick. If you can get your hands on a Chasuble of Fell Power (8000 gp), you can get 2d6 eldritch blast with only a single level of Warlock. Alternately, there are a bunch of tricks that allow you to get 2nd level spells with only a single level in an arcane spellcasting class, such as the Earth Spell feat from Races of Stone. Whichever way you go, the 4/1 or 1/4 split is generally preferable to the 3/3 split.

Personal favorite is to use Spellblast with Anti-Magic Field to throw an AMF at an enemy. You can now place a spell normally centered on you on an enemy! You can also use Noxious Blast+Heightened Arcane Missiles with Eldritch Spellweave to make a no-save, no spell resistance, no attack roll spell. You just do damage. BAM.

I like that idea, except in this campaign that could be a real big problem lol they playing a game where they face mainly mages.

What are other restrictions should we know? Allowed books? Houserules? Campaign specific stuff?

lol that isnt a restriction, but could see that being abused maybe. and their are no restrictions actually, and all books are allowed, even some 3rd party books.

If you're fighting a mage, dropping an Antimagic field on them is going to be all the more effective. Especially if you have some way to force them to stay in the field (lockdown build, for example.)

Yeah, that'd sting. Whips are surprisingly useful here, too.

If you can, convince a non-casting melee in your group to take Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Meteor Hammer) (Dragon #319), Stand Still, and Mage Slayer.

Instead of throwing AMFs and blocking your own powers consider focusing your caster side on counterspelling (http://community.wizards.com/forum/previous-editions-character-optimization/threads/1239466).
It doesn't take much to become surprisingly effective at it and it locks down enemy spellcasters pretty nicely unless they outnumber you.

You can't play lockdown with a whip since they don't threaten (so you don't get any AoO's).

lol this has given me alot of ideas. and surprisingly no one made a none magical build for this campaign, we have a storm mage, a eldritch theurge, and a mage focused on controlling.
