Lycanthropic Giant Shark

I want to use a Were Giant Shark Merfolk as an NPC, but while I can tell from the other Lycanthropes how to do it I am not sure how to CR is appropriately. What CR would be most appropriate for it?

I am taking that and running it in a future game. Also, for your weremurderofcrows how about treating the lycanthrope as a medium swarm of crows which coalesce into a medium humanoid with a crow head for hybrid. Give it some kind of AC bonus which in crow form to represent trying to hit the swarm. As for why? I saw it in one of the badwrongfun resident evil movies and even I thought it was badass.

It is nice, but I am making a giant shark as a companion to a Marid. I now am using CR 10 by comparing it to similar giants.
