Only if it's a high quality pizza. Which I suspect it would very much not be.

Whoever started putting sugar in tomato sauce deserves diabetes.

All employees dressed as characters from the game? Or failing that all dressed as Toad.

Taking this seriously, it could probably actually work well! They've got Nintendo/Pokemon themed cafe's in Japan, just bring us those but styled for us.

It would be like a cat cafe but with toads! Wait a second...
That might not be the best idea.

I know in Japan they also have manga cafes where you can basically sit and read manga. It could be somewhat like that.
Sit (or stand arcade gamers) and play mario games.

I would assume mushroom pizzas would be among the most popular?

Preach it brother!

It's like ketchup on a pizza.

There's also a One Piece themed restaurant. (http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2013/06/17/one-piece-themed-restaurant-named-baratie-to-open-in-tokyo)

This thread was every single Pizza Hut in American in the 1990's. If you guys ever happen to be in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I would highly recommend heading over to the Heartstone district downtown and going to a burger joint/pub named "Stella's": GQ rated them the best burgers in America in 2012 or 2013, and they have nothing but retro video games all over the place. The beer was pretty good too!
