Advice on Hosteling Armor Enchantment

Hi there, oh mighty giants community,
I am in need of some advice concerning the Hosteling armor enchant.
As stated here, here (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/magic-armor/magic-armor-and-shield-special-abilities/hosteling)
the enchantment lets you store a bonded animal within the armor.
But what about its equipment, armor, saddle, etc? Are those left behind or stored as well? How would your rule it?

When a character changes form, clothing and equipment are absorbed into the effect. I can't see why this would be treated any differently.

The intent of the property is that you can bring the animal out to act at a moment's notice - in an animal companion's case, this would include coming out swinging during a fight. Having to re-equip it every time would be onerous and make that ability pretty much useless.
