Half-Orc and Tiefling Inquisitors (via a racial favored class bonus), as well as Inquisitors who take the Improved Monster Lore feat, get a similar bonus (equal to 1/2 level) to Knowledge checks to ID monsters. The racial FCB and feat stack with each other, which can make for some pretty killer Knowledge Devotion builds in 3.P.
