So am I the only person on this board who plays vertical shmups? I sure hope not.
Anyways, this is a thread dedicated to the works of Team Shanghai Alice, who created a long-running series of vertical shooters starring a wide cast of magical girls, gorgeous graphics/music, and some of the most terrifying bullet patterns ever created by man.
Since one can only ramble about such things for so long, I'll let pictures do the talking. The following is a visual journey through the bosses of the last three stages of the finest of the Touhou games, Perfect Cherry Blossom:
