I was wondering if there would be anyone here, who could help me. I want to create a a staff, which has the ability of a rod of absorption (like Staff of the Magi) and which has the ability/option to cast a small number of spells.

I dont have any experience in creates staff, neither in or off game, so I turn to you.

How would you guys go about calculating the cost of a staff with such a continues absorption ability?

Thanks

Beg, buy, or steal a Rod of Absorption (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/rods.htm#absorption). The one you get must be a rod that could also be classified as a staff, but there's a lot of overlap between the definition of a rod and staff so that shouldn't be a problem (basically, you should be able to lean on it).

Then add spells to it as if you were creating a staff (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/creatingMagicItems.htm#creatingStaffs). You can do this because of this line:

A creator can add new magical abilities to a magic item with no restrictions. The cost to do this is the same as if the item was not magical.

It's a custom item so you ask your DM. But if he wants guidelines on how to price it then IMO simply adding the price of a rod of absorption to the regular price of a staff is totally fair. If the charges are shared with staff charges (treating each spell level as a charge), then multiply the cost of the second most costly spell or ability by 75%, and multiply the cost of the remaining spells or abilities by 50%.

If you mean its only power is absorption, then 50,000 gp is fair. It's not different enough from a rod for it to be a big deal. Even using it as a weapon isn't really an exploit.
