Warlock help

Hey guys so my fiancé is playing a half fay half drow. Warlock // Rogue. She is now asking me about a prestige class for warlock. Now how we play gestalt is you have to bind the classes. So she has to take warlock and rogue together and if she picks a prestige class it will be bound to a base class. So what would be some good options for her? Preferably improving her eldritch blast and invocations.

I'm not sure what you mean by bound. Like if she wants to take a level of fighter and not rogue for a level, she can't take warlock that level either?

Hellfire warlock is very good, and should be paired with binder.

It's not that good of a PrC however. Forcing the Character to be Chaotic Good, and does not advance the class, but instead has it's own EB progression and an assortment of it's own Invocation equivalents.

Yes precisely. I have looked at the hell fire warlock and thought about binder but I think adding that much may over well her she is a bit of a novice.

Also yes fay http://www.realmshelps.net/monsters/templates/halffey.shtml. So a half drow or lesser drow with the half fay template. And before any one asks about her being a novice, she picked this stuff out its up to me to make it work.

How open are you to home brew? I'm getting the idea that you are. Enlightened Spirit seems to have some intriguing ideas, but I'd consider, er...Well, buffing it a bit. Hellfire Warlock refluffed to be some sort of fey avenger would be pretty cool, I think. Is there a party, and if so, what are they?

And have you considered a prestige class for the rogue side instead? Rogue is...Well, tier 4 which might work for her, might not.

Which side of your gestalt is going to deal with the LA?

Is she going for a nice fey or an evil fey? Bondage/domination drow or chaotic good hero throwing off evil reputation of kin?
The mechanics might be up to you, but the mechanics will depend on the story/character she wants.

It is eberon and she is more of a cast off from both her parents and she is a chaotic neutral mischief maker.

The LA hits us on both sides but is halved so only la 1.
The party is a goliath half minitaur barbarian //dragon shaman 5 monk // fighter 1. A draconic dwarf ranger //cleric 7, a assimar sorcerer // fighter 7, and a draconic thing barbarian fighter scout can't remember. Our dm is not a fan of home brew and is regretting how potent he let us get as is.

So the LA goes Drow +2 plus Half-Fey +2 is a sum +4 total. Divided by two gives you a quotient of +2.

I would consider dropping the half-fey template and taking the a fey bloodline (Unearthed Arcana) instead. All your bloodline "levels" would boost your Eldritch Blast.

I think he's doing a lesser half-drow from PGtF, with half-fey. So the only LA is half-fey.
