I remember a flashback scene of Xykon killing Fyron. Does anyone know where it is? I'm trying to find it and having no luck.

Is it just me, or does Xykon look just as badass with flesh on his bones?

Or maybe Xykon took it from him. And the situation only shows where Xykon uses finishing spell.

No, it's just you. He looks better with that permanent smile of his on. (And it makes sense, since liches get a +2 bonus to Charisma...)

Xykon = Living Badass
:xykon: = Undead Badass

Live Xykon has that psycho-grin thing going on, just like Belkar's. Except Xykon does it more often, and still does--when his eyesockets have the slantyness to them.

In my opinion Xykon looked stupid when he was alive :D

Is there anywhere else that Xykon is shown alive?

No (though the Giant has mentioned plans for a volume similar to On The Origin of PCs describing Xykon's life (and unlife) and times up until he met Bluepommel or Redblade or whatever the heck that guy's name is.

You know, alive, Xykon looks a little like Nale and Elan....

I think that's just a coincidence and/or artifact of the stick-figure art style -- Xykon went "life signs: negative" too long ago (30 years (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0117.html)) to be their father, if that's what you're thinking.

The resemblance of hairstyle is uncanny, though- he doesn't have that stray lock, but it is parted in a similar manner. Uncle, maybe? One brother went the military route of evil while the other delved into magics?

:xykon: Elan, I am your grandFATHER!

:elan: Noooooooooooo!

:belkar: That was the stupidest movie spoof ever. And I'd know, I've seen the best at it.

If you guys are so eager to see a family relationship between Xykon and a member of the OotS, why not theorise he's related to Belkar somehow because of the similarity in smile and life outlook? -_- Heck, it'd explain why Belkar digs tall women to some extent, if his (grand)dad was a human. Also might possibly explain why he's shorter than other halflings, if halfling genes are dominant over human ones.

I was just noting the resemblence, not suggesting any relationship.

Besides, I'm sure with Xykon it would go more like "I am your fathers' brothers' nephewes' cousins' former roommate!" :smalltongue:
