What program do you recommend to someone who is thinking of making an Order Of The Stick fancomic? (Not the Falcon thing I'm working on, a seperate fancomic thing.)

Inkscape. Does vector art very well without costing as much as Adobe Illustrator. Works best in conjunction with this guide (http://www.trazoi.net/tutorials/inkscape/oots/index.html).

Some people use painting programs, even MS Paint, and they get very good results. Still, I can't help but feel that's a very work-intensive method. I've never tried it, though, so I really wouldn't know.

MS paint isn't too hard or long-winded to use, and if you're better at using it than I was, you can get pretty decent results.

Inkscape is your best bet.

1. It's vector-based, which is exactly the style of OOTS.
2. It's easy to do regular shapes like circles and rectangles and such, which form the basic artstyle of OOTS.
3. It's the free version of Adobe Illustrator (essentially), which is the program that Rich uses for OOTS.

I'd say it's much better than Paint, because you can easily adjust things and work on the drawing in whatever order. With Paint, when you put something down on the paper, it's down.

4. You can copy figures from one panel to another and easily resize them. Saves on work.
