Had an idea for a zealot build, based are making most of your strikes touch attacks. Playtest material in use (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?373269-Dreamscarred-Press-Announces-Path-of-War-Expanded), obviously.

Race is human with an alternate racial to trade out skilled for a point of essence (see the Akashic mysteries playtest thread (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?349964-Dreamscarred-Press-Introduces-Akashic-Mysteries)). Any race with inherent essence works, but delays the build from coming online for a level, though with generous point buy or good rolls it wouldn't have too.

20 PB
Str 14 - moderate, hitting touch AC will be easy, hurts damage especially since power attack doesn't work on touch attacks. Maneuvers, class abilities, psionic weapon, and a deep crystal weapon will help compensate
Dex 12, wearing fullplate
Con 14, typical
Int 10, can't spare anything for it
Wis 10, same
Cha - everything else goes here to give higher DCs and more PP

Feats
1st Psionic weapon (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/feats/psionic-weapon-psionic) (pre-req for deep impact)
Hu essence focus (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/variant-magic-rules/akashic-magic/feats/essence-focus-akashic) (akashic feat, allows you to get double duty every time you expend your focus)
3rd Sleeping Goddess Style (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1EPARqt5jpie03MIXStgFrNK_si6g218bjT4TFbcizPY/edit) - recover focus & maneuver as a standard, move with psionic meditation
5th Psionic meditation (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/feats/psionic-meditation-psionic) (focus as move, combines with sleeping goddess style)

Convictions:
2nd Burning Conviction (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AbNq6NDkQ84JoacxMb-CxbQKwuXVWTEBpX2cIcNB7iA/edit) (to get psionic mediation without 13 WIS)
6th Psionic Conviction (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AbNq6NDkQ84JoacxMb-CxbQKwuXVWTEBpX2cIcNB7iA/edit) - Deep Impact (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/feats/deep-impact-psionic) (expend focus to make next melee attack a touch attack)

So at 6th level, you can expend focus to make a strike as a touch attack plus an additional effect, such as +2d6 damage from psionic weapon or various augments from sleeping goddess maneuvers or other class abilities. Spend your move to recover a maneuver and your focus. Movement can be partially covered by maneuvers, with sleeping goddess and eternal guardian both granting helpful abilities to get around without cutting into your move actions. With the destruction mission you can also make these touch attack strikes in a cone or line, since you only roll the attack once. As far as I can tell they still count as melee attacks.

So, end result is an extremely accurate melee fighter that uses maneuvers, psionics, and akasha to damage and debuff his foes and buff his allies. Thoughts? Errors? Ideas for later levels?

It's a really interesting build, but it depends what you're going for really.

The only problem I have with it is that it can be outclassed quickly with a normal Magus build.
Though expending a move action to make the attack touch isn't anything to be sniffed at as it's got no x/day limitation.
(Magus gets something similar as an arcana at level 9)

To be honest thought it's a really nice Psionic version of a Magus though!

At level 9, a magus will have 8-10 points in his arcane pool, making it a nice trick to pull out in a pinch but hardly something you will do every fight, not with weapon enhancements and spell recall eating into your pool. The repeatability is the crux of this build.

A bushi warder 6/Psion 1/Awakened Blade 6 could pull off the recover focus+deep impact trick better (free recovery of psionic focus), but this comes online 6 levels earlier. The other stuff this build can do seems nice too.

Those six levels are a big deal for getting your main schtick going, in my opinion. I don't play into the upper levels often, I get dizzy over 8.

I didn't put enough emphasis on 6 levels then. I fully agree that the huge advantage for coming online makes the Zealot build win over it for that.
