Elemental attunement how do you like to use it ?

what are some cleaver ways to use the monks elemental attunement ability

Well our party used it to climb a mountain in a blizzard. All our gear was nice and toasty so we had advantage to Con saves against the extreme cold and wind. The monk is further an elf so he used it to make nice warm stones in the center of our tent while we rested.

He used his shape elements ability to build a wind break out of the snow, ice and stone.

He tried to argue that he could use it to create air masks around us so we didn't have to make saves against altitude sickness, but that one didn't fly.

So, uh...pretty good for that exact scenario.
