[3.5] Warlocks, Karsites & Spellwarped

Hey all,

A Warlock's Eldritch Blast has a spell level equivalent...

Just wonder how this interacts with the Spell Healing of a Karsite, and the Spell Absorption of a Spellwarped creature, who gain benefits derived from spell level that doesn't overcome their SR.

Wouldn't it just use the level of the blast (1st, without any essences or shapes) to determine the effect?

Yeah — that sounds to be it. The trick is to read the errata IIFC.

OK, wasn't sure if the SR just dispersed the Eldritch Blast without effect, or if the Karsite/Spellwarped actually benefited as if it was a spell.
