Does anyone know that stats for a Stag?

A player in a gamer I am running wants to use one for a mount he needs when he takes his new class. However I have no idea where to find the stats for a basic stag or even a book I could look to would be really helpful thanks.

I'm AFB but I think Frostburn has stats for a reindeer. That could be easily fitted into a deer

Use a Pony and give them a Gore instead of Hooves. Personally, I would want a hart instead of a stag.

The Silver Marches has stats for deer. Frostburn has a few related animals, but no regular stags.

Here's some homebrew for ya:

2d8+2 (11 hp)
60ft
AC 13 (+2 dex, +1 natural)
Gore +2 (1d4+1), 2 hooves -3 (1d4)
Great Leap (as a ninja, Complete Adventurer)
Low-light Vision, Scent
Str 12, Dex 15, Con 12, Int 2, Wis 12, Cha 9
Jump +14 (+18), Listen +9, Spot +9
Run, Alertness (B)
+4 racial bonus to listen & spot

there you go

Pretty much the same thing as an Elk. Pathfinder has an Elk Mount and an Elk Animal Companion statted out:

Here you go! (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/druid/animal-companions#TOC-Elk)

Harts are just normal deer with max hit dice for a deer due to being more mature physically than a stag.

Awesome, would I just need to stat that out myself or is there an actual entry for them in one of the books.

Hart is just a subset of stag - any stag more than 5 years old can also be called a hart:

The Tomb of Horrors Web supplement has the stats for a variety of new dire animals, including deer. My favorites are the Dire Porcupine and the Dire Skunk.
