With regards to Gilgamesh

I am trying to think, because he is often depicted this way in the Final Fantasy series, that if Gilgamesh existed in the same fashion in 3.x, what 8 (or potentially more) weapons would he wield in his many hands?

Even the treasures he didn't own because they had yet to exist, he owns because he owns everything valuable and anything of worth MUST be a derivative of something he owned.

He no longer even remembers everything that was in his treasury, since there was simply too much to bother remembering.

Being the original hero, Gilgamesh owns basically everything that has existed, and everything that will exist is based on what did exist.

The Gate of Babylon (http://typemoon.wikia.com/wiki/Gate_of_Babylon) makes the saying 'everything old is new again' pretty much literal.

As far as actual listed swords from 3.5 that the guy would probably want in his armory (top 9, at least, for the version that already has them all by default), I'd think that that one Luck Sword that has 3 free Wishes loaded into it as well as some fairly useful base abilities would be on the list. It's a bit of a gimme, but Wish is one of the few truly objectively absurd things that absolutely everyone will agree is absurd on their first reading.
