I'm working full tilt on it now, but tonight's comic will be about half an hour late. It will be double again, though.

Now I'm all a-tingle with anticipation. Yes, I tingle at times. No, that does not in any way threaten my gender identity. I'm not Vars, though if Vars tingled, I theorize a spacial collapse would be imminent.

Meh. I'm staying up all night anyway. See, on spring break, I become nocturnal. So, no worries Giant.

Careful, the easiest way to deal with late comics is by moving the Schedual from MWF to TRS!

Seriously though, I try to think of the OotS as a TRS comic in my mind. Other wise I'd be checking every half hour to see if a new comic was up.

It's twelve frickin' thirty! Where's the comic? Doesn't Rich know what it does to us when we don't get our fix?

At the risk of being lynched, why not only release the single strip, and then save the other strip for friday, so that on Friday you could catch up and never have to be late again?

Natuarly that not how creativity works, but just thought I'd mention it

I live in Australia, so it's Tues/Thurs/Sat by the time it's posted anyway. Whether it's at 2 or 3 in the afternoon doesn't matter too much.

You shut your filthy mouth!

We must have as many pages as soon as possible! Immediate gratification takes precdence over future planning!

It doesn't work like that. I don't do double strips because I'm running late, I run late because I'm doing a double strip. And the doubleness is determined by the amount of story I need to dispense at once. I can't end a strip mid-sequence, I need to get it to the natural stopping point in the flow of the story (or humor). Sometimes, that means I need to get two or three or even four pages released at once.

That'd be frikken sweet.

Agreed. You shouldn't have typed that, Mr. Giant. We will be waiting... and watching... Our ninja squads will be ready if you don't deliver...
