Anyone know a good class that fits, fluff-wise, for the concept of a immortal fey trickster/wanderer?

He's sort of like a milder Loki (mythology, not the avengers one) version, treating life like its one big party. Though he has his angrier moments, where he hates being immortal.

I was originally thinking of a Feylock, but...*shrug*

Only class that's off limits is sorcerer, due to something that would take too long to explain.

Beguiler
For your full on illusionist. Maybe going into shadow craft mage

Cloistered cleric of illusion(or trickery) and fae,
You can also get into shadow craft mage with a cleric(If you pick up the shadow domain somehow), which is BAD***
Use spontaneous domain casting so you can use your illusion spells more often.
This can be used like a lancelot/Black knight type of character.

In core I could see a fighter, rogue, ranger, monk, wizard, bard, Druid, barbarian, or cleric fit the bill.

Racial hit die.

Definitely use Beguiler from PHB2. It's an Int-based spontaneous caster with a heavy focus on illusion and enchantment, and gets skills like a Rogue.

Racial hit die.

I know, I'm just wondering where that factors into this.

You said you wanted your character to be fey. Fey hd are probably a good way to do that.

I suggest Master of Masks, a PrC found in the Complete Scoundrel.

You wear masks, that give you abilities that basically emulate any class.

Or gain a draconic breath attack. Or be an assassin. Or gain spell-like abilities.

Too many abilities to list here, honestly.

Oh, and something I should mention. The other three members are a paladin, a wizard, and a Beguiler.
