Hi! I write here to ask you some help about a toucher character specialized in inflict wounds spell. I know that maybe this is not the best build, but I really like this concept, and I would appreciate a hand to optimize it.

It's thought to be a 6-th level human NECROPOLITAN character, a sort of Gream Reaper, able to Rebuke undeads, based on this sequence of feats:
1st) Maximize spells (prereq. to Mastery of Day and Night)
1st+) Practiced spellcaster (for multiclassing)[Comp. Arcane]
3rd) Mastery of Day and Night [Player's Guide to Eberron]
6th) Holy potency [Comp. Champion]

In other words, maximized spontaneous inflict wounds, increased DC / damage and awesome combos with melee attacks.

The "problem" are classes. Since now I've thought at two possible ways:
1) Divine path: 2 Cloistered Cleric/3 Paladin of Tyranny/1 Bone Knight [Five Nations]
Pros:
- Versatility of the cleric spell list
- Domains (Trickery and Time: he worships the idea of death as the final reckoning)
- Divine Grace and -2 to ST aura (increasing effective DC for inflict spells by 2)
- Awesome bone armor, with DR and intimidate bonus
Cons:
- Three main stats: Str, Wis and Cha
- 3/4 average BAB, a bit low for a gish
- For further levels beyond 6th, Bone Knight progression gives immunities redundant with necropolitan

2) Arcane path: 2 Dread Necromancer/3 Paladin of Tyranny/1 X
Pros:
- Just Cha and Str as main stats!
- More DR
- Paladin abilities are better exploitable
Cons:
- Can't cast in heavy armor (which was my idea)
- Very limited spell list...I'm used to clerics and this makes me feel really unconfortable
- No idea for X

Questions:
- What do you think about feats? I was considering to put Quicken Turning as flaw-feat: would this quicken Holy Potency Conduit of Death? If not, what other feat do you suggest?
- What path is the best? Rolling a 18-18-18 in Str-Wis-Cha I would say 1), but with point buy it's a bit difficult.
- What divine PrCs do you suggest? I like the flavour of the Bone Knight, but it's a bit redundant with immunities.
- What about X? True Necromancer is really good, progressing both on the Dread Necromancer and Paladin spellcasting sides, but I don't fit the req. Ideas?

Thanks a lot, hope you enjoy the discussion :)

"Now, point on the doll where the priest touched you..."

Well there went my Bad Touch joke.......

But seriously i recommend the Dread Necro path as you effectively have infinite Inflict Light Wounds as well as a bunch of other fun spells, as for actual build i recommend Dread Necro 4/Paladin of Tyranny 2/Abjurant Champ 5/ X 9. As Abjurant Champ is awesome.

Ordained Champion is a great Cleric prestige class that allows you to channel touch spells through a melee attack. That's what I'd go with.

Have you thought about prestigious paladin? You would need flaws to get in and still have the feats you want (or don't take practiced spell caster since you'd only loose 1 level). Don't worry about str and bab thats what divine power is for.

Another thing to consider is reach spell. Turns touch attacks into rays for +2 levels.

If 2nd party is allowed. Champions of Darkness has a feat called Exra Wounds. It allows you to use a Turn/Rebuke undead attempt to add charisma to the damage of a inflict spell.

Ok, we've reached 5 comments, time to reply.

First of all, it's clear that clear I was not, so I'll reply to each comment in order of pertinence.

Blackhawk748 ) The most useful suggestion so far. I still prefer 2 Dread N./3 Paladin of Tyranny for Charisma ST bonuses and aura of despair. Abjurant Champion...full BAB, full caster progression...stop. Actually quite generic, good PrC, but generic. This because I'm not going to exploit ANY of its advantages, and this because Dread Necromancer CAN'T cast abjuration spells except 4 (FOUR!...mmmh, swift undetectable alignment/extended Dispel Magic...so useful). Moreover I don't know what to do with a (NOT maximized) Inflict Light Wounds at will. I want possibly kill someone with this character, not tickle him.

Wacky89 ) Great feat, I really appreciate this suggestion, but I doubt that my DM would allow non-3.5 feats :( Do you know any Inflict-feat twin of Augment Healing for cures (+2/lev to healed damage)?

kulosle ) Prestige Paladin, good choice, but spell progression 8/15 only (excluding the annotation on Unearthed Arcana saying that if you use in your game Prestige Paladin/Bard/Ranger, it's suggested not to use the regular version too), and I thought it was quite clear that I prefer full progression (that's why I've selected Practiced Spell Caster!)

SangoProduction) Ahahah, good joke :)

Troacctid) More useless than the joke up here (again, really good joke, I'm really TOUCHED). Ordained Champion. Really? Gains War domain (I don't need it); 3/5 spell progression (I'm spending a whole feat to maintain full progression); Diehard (my character is an UNDEAD); can deliver PREPARED spells with melee attacks (so, I should fill my spell list with PREPARED Inflict spells, saying goodbye to the Cleric versatility); grand finale: LOSES SPONTANEOUS INFLICT SPELLS. Have you even read the thread?!

Apart from all, would Quicken Turning quicken Holy Potency too, IyourHO?

Thanks to all (aside Troacctid)!

If you wanted to go a totally different direction, you could go with a Warlock/Nosomatic Chirurgeon, from Dragonmarked. (You listed Mastery of Day and Night, so I assume Eberron books are on the table for you.) You'd need to go glimmerskin halfling to get Heal as a class skill (and if your GM enforces racial dragonmark restrictions, you have to be a halfling to take Mark of Healing anyway), but the first level of Nosomatic Chirurgeon lets you spend one use of an SLA to turn it into an Inflict spell of the same effective spell level as the SLA. Since Warlocks have at-will SLAs, that means at-will Inflict spells. (You can't use Tomb-Tainted Soul to heal yourself with them, though—it specifies that they're not negative energy and don't heal undead, presumably specifically to stop that sort of thing.)

It's a different avenue of optimization, but it might be fun if you really want to focus on Inflict spells.

I assumed you were willing to lose casting because your sample builds all lost three levels of it multiclassing as a Paladin. If that's something you're concerned about, you might consider going straight Cleric or straight Dread Necromancer.
