I tell you what,

I've spent the better half of this last month glued to my screen clicking vigorously, yelling curses and throwing skittles while jamming away at flash games.

What is it with those brilliant little games? I can't handle their simplicity, their addictive play and their down-right unlawful encroachment into my sub-conscious. When I work I think about them, when I sleep I think about them and when I spend quality time with my DnD miniatures I think about them. There has to be a limit to this! I draw the line here_______! :smallfurious:

I am taking a brake from these little flash games so I can regenerate my non-lethal damage to it's normal threshold.

What do you think? Is there anybody out there that likes these flash games? Which ones really get you going? Which ones test the patience of your loved ones as you parade around the house smashing valuables?

Defend Your Castle always gets me. Simple, fun, and it's incredibly fulfilling to throw little stick figures into the air and watch them go *splat*.

I love the ones that let you build different towers and destroy wave after wave of sheep and goblins.

Winning a bubble drop game is always very fullfilling to me :D

addictinggames.com is one of my fave sites (after this and facebook). I spend hours playing those stupid games. I have nothing better to do at work, most of the time, so I do that.

I prefer playing games that I can stop in the middle of (if work sneak attacks me) without losing. I like ones that require thought, and ones that require no thought whatsoever. I played one today that was basically "click once and watch stuff happen". I played it for an hour.

Personal faves:
Motherload
Hapland (and the like)
Bejewelled
Tanks
Bot Arena
Staggy the Boyscout Slayer
Penguins!
Renegade Commando

Dragon Fable has become something interesting. http://www.dragonfable.com/ Lotsa free fun. You can upgrade for 20 bucks and get a dragon amulet. have not done so.

http://www.jayisgames.com is pretty neat. It has a whole bunch of game reviews, with user comments as well.

Also with DragonFable is Battleon.com (known as Adventure Quest) made by the same folks. The two games are similar and happen in the same world, but different interfaces and styles.

I paid for a Guardian character in Battleon and the 6 Slot Dragon Amulet in DF, and both have been some of the best gaming buys I've ever made. Highly recommended. Been playing AQ for close to 4 years now, and it only cost me that one time maybe $12. Simple stuff, but good, clean fun. :)

My current addiction is Double Wires. A little game where you just run through as a little stick-spiderman.

Translated by Google, just because it's funny to read that way. (http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://ishi.blog2.fc2.com/blog-entry-199.html&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=2&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Ddouble%2Bwires%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff %26client%3Dfirefox-a%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26hs%3DIQb)

You can cheat a little by finding the direct URL for the game, than you can change how much of the area you can see by change your window size. It doesn't seem to run as well though.
