what is a good class to pair with duskblade in a gestalt game

I all ready did a duskblade/warmage before and it work good for me

I was think druid could be cool for having the animal channel spell through natural attacks

but i've only been playing dice games for 2 years and know i still have a lot to learn

3.5 3.0 and DRM alllowed

Factotum, Wizard, Archivist, and Rogue all benefit from intelligence and have something to bring to the table. Factotum brings extra actions, Int to many things, and every skill. Wizard and Archivist allow you to flesh out your spell selection. Rogue gives you sneak attack and also pads out your skills.

Probably the best thing you can put on the other side is a full casting class, since you can channel any touch spells, not just Duskblade spells.

If you like that whole armored mage/debuff sort of character, take a look at Beguiler. Hands down my favorite spellcasting class.
