Hi all.
I am trying a new approach in my campaign.
I added some political intrigues and they will likely (and hopefully) end in a war between Blidgenstone (aided by Mithrill Hall) and Menzoberranzan.

If combat will be in underdark passages I think a good approach will be to use guerrilla tactics. In order to do that (and to make things easier for me) I divided the armies in small units (squads)

Svirfneblin have a penalty to strenght and are small, so I think warriors in this race are unlikely to engage in melee combat, while drow have -2 con so they will avoid high amounts of damage.

How do you think these squads are going to be built? I think Svirfneblin warriors will use spring attack and have some rogue levels to make sneak attacks and drow will use archery and concealment.

Drow Squads will be 4-6 NPC.
1 Capitain (Cleric or wizard)
1-2 Explorer (ranger or rogue)
2-3 Fighters (Warriors)

Svirfneblin squads will be the same size, but I have doubts in the classes involved in each role
1 Capitain
1-2 explorer
2-3 Fighters

Dwarf Squads are easier to make

1 Capitain (Cleric)
1 Explorer (ranger)
2-4 fighters (warrior)

I would apreciate your ideas and help

Saludos!

Zeke
