What are Dusklings good for in a game that may not have Incarnum to use?

i.e No soulmelds or other meldshaping options.

What would be some good classes to use with the race?
Im allowed anything but the MoI classes and the ToB classes, or anything from setting specific books.

If you can't use the essentia for anything else, then it's just locked in as a 5-ft. enhancement bonus to your land speed, so meh. Other than that, you have the Fey type, if you can find some reason for that to matter (Fangshields substitution levels? Soul Eater?), and you have a Barbarian substitution level that gives you Knowledge (The Planes) and +2 initiative in exchange for reducing the size of your hit die, which is meh.
