View Full Version : (Re-)Name That Tune!

2015-02-09, 06:31 AM
I want to try a new game to see if it can work as a forum game.

First person posts a re-imagining of a song title which still means the same as the original song title, and the others try to figure out what the song title should be.
The person that figures out the correct song title can then post another renamed tune for the others to guess.

The female royal who tangoes - Dancing Queen
One more clay-based building block in the barricading structure - Another brick in the wall
Strong affectionate feelings are skywards - Love is in the air

So, who wants to give it a go and give us the first song to guess?

2015-02-09, 07:22 AM
This seems decently entertaining. :thog: Sure, I could give this a go (this song title should be rather easy):

Possesses the odor of adolescent morale.

Dudeons got it right, and didn't have to watch a silly video.

And Trevortni, for someone who didn't know Set Fire to the Rain was a song, you followed up with a great pun. The artist for that is Adele, and your renaming is for The Farmer in the Dell. Nyuk nyuk.

Let's try High Quality Quivers.

Edit 4/5: It was the Beach Boys' version in my head.

(Not exactly the name of the song, but I didn't realize that until I Googled it)

@V: It was actually supposed to be "Quicker Than A Ray Of Light", which is actually just "Ray Of Light", by Madonna. But I flubbed the title, and you got the gist, so it's good enough for me.
