Ravages and poisons

I guess the same question can be made for diseases and afflictions. If you acquire anything that affects poison, does it affect ravages as well? For example, if you have an ability that increases your save DC with poisons, would it affect ravages too?

By RAW, no as they are specifically called out as two different things. It would be an easy house-rule, however, if your DM wants to use magic/psionics transparency rule as a precedent.
