DUAL CLASSING
The concept is inspired by 4e's hybrid class system. I'd call this hybrid classing but given that pathfinder already has something by that name, dual classing shall serve as the term.

If you want to make a dual class character, pick two classes you want to combine, and then read the entries for the dual class versions of them. I will attempt to provide a dual class version for every class I can get my hands upon, starting with the core. If you would like to provide one for a home-brewed class, then I more than welcome you to post them and I may incorporate them into the OP.

Armor Proficiencies: You start with only the armor proficiencies that are possessed by both of your classes.

Weapon Proficiencies: Combine the weapon proficiencies given for each of your classes.

Attack Bonus: You will receive the average of the attack bonus progressions, rounded down.

Saves: You will receive a combination of the save sets for both classes. If both overlap, you get the good save. If neither provides a good save for the class, then yo have a poor save progression. If only one provides a good save and the other does not, then you have a moderate progression, as follows:

Level Save
1st +1
2nd +1
3rd +2
4th +2
5th +2
6th +3
7th +3
8th +4
9th +4
10th +5
11th +5
12th +5
13th +6
14th +6
15th +7
16th +7
17th +7
18th +8
19th +8
20th +9

Hit Die: For this purpose, compare the hit die listed for each and then consult the following table.

HD d6 d8 d10 d12
d6 d6 d6 d8 d8
d8 d6 d8 d8 d10
d10 d8 d8 d10 d10
d12 d8 d10 d10 d12

Class Skills: Combine the class skill lists of your chosen classes and combine the skill point values of the two chosen dual class packages to determine skill points per level.

Class Features: You gain all the class features listed under the dual class package at the levels stated. Any and all adjustments to said class feature will be mentioned in the description, otherwise assume it functions exactly as normal.

Dual-class Feat: Under each will be a list of feats, only available at first level, that provide an increased benefit from one of the dual classes. You may only gain a dualclass feat from one of your selected dualclasses. Your DM may rule you gain one of these as well as your normal allotted feat at first level.

SPECIAL RULES

Meeting prerequisites: Unless explicitly stated, for the purpose of meeting prestige class and feat prerequisites, your dual class levels count as full levels in their requisite classes and the class features count even if modified as part of being in a dual class package.

Spellcasting: For the purpose of casting spells, your caster level is equal to your character level whether both sides or only one side of your dual classes are spellcasting. If both classes are prepared, then you prepare the spells individually from the pool. If only one is prepared and the other is spontaneous, then you prepare spells from the pool and any unprepared is available to you to cast spontaneously from your other class. As far as arcane vs divine, the class from which the spell is cast determines this. Each spellcasting class still depends on their own ability scores for the purpose of ability to cast and saves, though for the purpose of bonus spells you must choose between the bonus spell ability scores of your casting classes.

-Below is a set of spells per day tables. Select the two associated with your chosen classes and combine them. If only one of your classes is a spellcasting class, then simply use the associated spells per day table below. If both would use the same table then use the wizard's spells per day table for prepared full or the sorcerer's spells per day table for spontaneous full.

Put this here so when I start putting them in I have a skeleton to plug things into. Im deciding on how to balance things exactly, hence the delay in putting the packages up.

Im digging this one up, hoping it will get some traction. The design intent should be clear from the first post, and i've made room for all the classes, with the exception of 3rd party classes and the hybrid classes (And Alternative Classes, which will have their own entries under their counterpart, or not).

Some of the classes are fairly clear in how to approach them, others... are a different story.

Is this meant to be akin to 4e's hybrid or a more balanced gestalt?

Is this meant to be akin to 4e's hybrid or a more balanced gestalt?

I suppose while we could argue both, the target is 4e's hybrid system (as noted in the original post).

Balancing notes (Spellcasters):

One aspect I am deciding on, in terms of casting is what is presented above (Full casters get full casting, but half as many uses), and implementing a step down system (Implementing averages in terms of 9-level casting, 6-level casting, 4-level casting, and no casting at all). Both have their merits, though the former rings more true to 4e's system. That having been said, it is in part because of how their system is set up in the first place, so it may be more sane to go with the latter route as I have in other things. I want to balance things across the board, and while I would propose a differing system, I don't know how it would play. For instance, a system as follows;
Class features are acquired from both classes, but at 1/2 rate, but effective class level for the purpose of using class features from each points to character level. Spell slots are acquired at 1/2 the normal rate, but caster level scales to class level. But such a thing seems just like an unusual gestalt rather than actually blending two classes together.

Minor nitpick, but no Pathfinder class has d4 hit die.

How'd that get there? Thank you for pointing that out. I've ripped that portion of the table out.
