How do multi class cross class skill work?

So I have a build rog4/wiz1/unseen seer 10/abjurant champ 5

I took 4 level in rogue to qualify for the prereqs of unseen seer faster

but if I took rog 3/wiz 2 would I still be able to qualify for it in terms of skill ranks?

the extra wizard level means I'd be able to get 9th level spells

How does taking "class skills" of previously taken classes work do you still pay cross class ranks or have half the skill ceiling?

I believe you have the non-cross skill ceiling, but on the levels you take the class without the skill you still pay cross class price.

Try to avoid paying the cross class cost when possible.
