Im using 5th edition(unpopular here I know) but carrying around the tome of a core book is growing tiresome, is there an SRD for SR 5E?

Not really, no - you could always get the core as a PDF though.

SRDs are pretty much a D&D/Pathfinder only thing. You won't find other games doing them, for a number of reasons.

Though as said, the books are all sold in PDF form.

Only games that have been released under the Open Gaming License (or similar) will have a SRD. D&D/Pathfinder does, the d20 version of the Traveller RPG does, as does the Mongoose version of Traveller. All of those were released under the OGL. Shadowrun isn't released under the OGL, so won't have a (legally available) SRD.

$20.00 isn't bad.
