[3.X] Bedeviled by Demons

Is it just me, or do Demons get much more attention in 3.X than Devils?

My current campaign is build around a battole against the Cult of Dispater, and scanning through the books for ideas and hooks, I find that the denizens of the Abyss tend to get much more air time than the poor old Nine Hells.

There seem to be a lot more Demons, and more Demon related spells, items, PrCs etc. than there are for Devils.

Am I just not looking hard enough?

Demons tend to be more diverse, so they've got a deeper roster. Part of the point of devils is they'll always be willing to stuff a square peg into a round hole until it breaks.

Except the peg is your soul, the hole is hell, and the breaking is torture.
