So I'm working on a Calvary build at the moment, and I cam across a feat called Tremendous Charge (Dragonlance Campaign Setting). When you charge with a Lance, it lets you use you're mount's strength score when determining the bonus damage you do on a charge, but then the lance is required to making a saving throw. How do you determine the saving throw of an item?

Items receive a saving throw only if they are magical. If the item is magical, it uses its wielder's saving throw or its own, whichever is higher. A magic item's item's saving throw bonuses are each equal to 2 + 1/2 its caster level.

Oh, so an enchanted lance would just use my character's throw? That solves alot of problems. Thanks.

Minor correction: a magical item gets a saving throw bonus based on its caster level as stated, but ANY attended item can use the wielder/wearer's save instead if it is better.
