So, I know about Sizing and Morphing enchantments for weapons.

I'm curious if there's any enchantment that'll let a weapon take on a humanoid form, even an illusionary one, for extended periods of time. Thinking it would be an interesting ability to stick on an intelligent weapon for flavor.

Ability to cast Major Image 1/day is one of the listed lesser powers for intelligent items. The duration is "concentration + 3 rounds", and what better use does the item have for its actions?

Alternatively, an animated weapon is considered a small creature, so it should be able to take on a medium construct form if you give it the ability to cast alter self.
