1) The music in this show is beautiful and really adds to the mood and feel of the show in a way that I have never expericed before.

2) I must have it. Does anyone know if they have released a sound track or have plans to do so.

3) At the very least I have to get that version of All Along the Watchtower.

Agreed. It creates good atmosphere when needed, yet it's not overused. I was struck dumb for a good twenty minutes when Starbuck started playing Solo Piano on the radio at her apartment. Whoa.

The intro song is awesome. It starts out all peaceful but it gets intense later. Sort of.

There is a soundtrack, yes. Also, Prelude to War is awesometastic.

Yes, the music is fantastic and the soundtracks to season 1 and 2 can be found on CD (or BitTorrent for the morally flexible). Lords of Kobol is another awsome track.

There is some pretty darn amazing music in this show...I wish "The Shape of Things to Come" (Season 1) would just go on forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and...*sigh* Good stuff.

You might recall that particular track from Six showed Baltar the "baby" in the opera house on Kobol at the end of Season 1.
