Hi, I was going to add this to my last post but decided that it deserved it's own.

So I playing a druid and maybe going into the Master of many forms class. I was wondering what kind of feats, abilities, items are out there that increases the druids max wildshape HD, since druids can only wildshape up to 20 HD creatures.

The big three are the wild shape amulet (MoF, 167), which boosts by 4 to a maximum of 20 for 40,000 GP, the trappings of the beast (CC, 135), which boosts by 1 for 52,175 (though you get a lot of other really valuable abilities), and the skin of kaletor (DrM #324, 75), which boosts by 4 for 12,000 GP.

cool. i got to check these out.

I got two Questions

1. does the wild shape amulet add four level to HD max 20 (sample 16HD+4HD = 20HD MAX) or do you mean it can add a maximum of 20 HD ( 20HD+20HD = 40HD)

2. do these items stack

The former.

Pretty sure they do, yeah.

is it possible to increase to max wild shape HD limit by doing a gestalt, say playing a gestalt (druid/other class) and then start taking the master of many forms class (which stacks with druid) with the druid.

so in the end i would have (druid 20/ Momf 10). would i have a 30 HD wild shape limit.

I'm a bit doubtful. You end up with two classes that are advancing the same thing on each side, after all, and that doesn't tend to stack in gestalt.

I'm not saying it works that way, i'm asking if it would work. I have read about gestalt campaigns but never actually played one, so I don't really know what works and doesn't works.

It wouldn't work, then. Gestalt rules don't allow you to double-dip like that.
