Sanctify the Wicked replaces all of an evil creature's Spell-like and Supernatural Abilities with eye lasers, a Menacing Aura (-2 to a bunch of stuff for those who fail the save), a constant Magic Circle Against Evil, and the ability to speak any language. The laser is decent, being ranged touch and thus quite likely to hit and all, but it only does 1d6 damage per two HD, so it's pretty wimpy. The Aura's okay, and if you get a creature that has a good ratio of Hit Dice to CR and nice Cha, its Save is actually moderately formidable, but a -2 to some stuff is nothing to whoop over at medium levels. Magic Circle Against Evil does what it always does, and is admittedly pretty nice for doing so.
So you've got some Cha-related penalties and a lot of HD-related effects. In exchange you lose all Su and Sp abilities. Not a fun trade in many cases.
So what creatures would be best for this? So far, good things to look for include having a high number of Hit Dice for the creature's CR, having a good Charisma, and being generally competent without using Su or Sp abilities. What fits that bill well?
