I was wondering what the size advancement for each claw level is from Medium to Large and from Large to Huge, particularly for the later levels where the highest claw size is 5d6 at medium.

I was wondering what the size advancement for each claw level is from Medium to Large and from Large to Huge, particularly for the later levels where the highest claw size is 5d6 at medium.

Every two size categories is a doubling. The chart explicitly labels large as 6d6, so it would go:

So it would be something like: 5d6(med)->6d6(large)->9d6(huge)->12d6(gargantuan)->18d6(colossal)



Note: While two sizes = double damage is the formula everything in the game follows, it is not actually standardized explicitly anywhere, so some people will try to argue things like "Since it's not on the size progression chart it doesn't advance at all". A more moderate position might note that at level 11 and onwards, Claws of the Beast goes up and down 1d6 per size category away from medium, despite medium being above 2d6. A fair argument could say 5d6->6d6->7d6->8d6->9d6. It's less awesome than the standard rules, but there is a strong argument to be made that it acts differently because it's a spell/power.
